Shauntay Gregg
In 1997, Shauntay began her journey as a volunteer at Loop Learning Center while she was in high school. Upon graduation from high school she attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
Her passion to work in the field of Early Childhood Education led her to accept a position as an Administrative Assistant when she returned to Chicago. Her role included managing workflow by assigning tasks to other employees daily and ensuring deadlines were met. Shauntay oversees the financial operations of the center. She works with families, staff and children to ensure continuity in child care and assist in providing resources for families who may need various service. Shauntay is proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
Shauntay’s desire to make a difference in the lives of children is evident by her consistent training in Early Childhood Education, Head Start Policy and Procedures and the Child Care Assistance Program.
Shauntay has attended Kendall College studying Early Childhood and did Undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University majoring in Information Systems Technology.
In her spare time, Shauntay enjoys traveling with friends and family.
